Why Does Smoking Marijuana ( Weed ) Cause my Heart to Race over 100 bpm?

I been Smokin Weed for the past 4 years.. i had started Smoking exotic weed for the past 2 years. ALl of a sudden one day i had to be rushed to the ER on EMS because i had just got done smoking the best weed i ever had called Blackberry..since then weed has a drastic effect on my heart. When i was rushed in the hospital i had a heart rate of 186 BMp nd steady raising. the doctors had injected me with some type of fluid that stop my heart beat for a second to get it ti slow down on the right pace. i was put on a monitor and hospitalized for a week. after i was checked in the doctors tell me i had a irregular heart beat, which is a surprise to me because before i was injected with the fluid i had a regular good heart beat. however i was scheduled to see a cardiologist.. mean time i had tried smoking again and the same thing had happen emitting me right back into the hospital.. so finally i quit smoking nd i see my cardiologist nd he diagnoses me with PSVT!. my question is dose anyone else have this problem nd how soon do you think it is untill i am able to smoke again!. i Feel depressed because i was a causal smoker and never had any type bad effect untill then it it just bumbs me out how all of a sudden i have a heart condition! and no way to coop with the depression cause Weed was my only resource|||After talking with you specialist about it (see if smoke in general may cause a reaction). And maybe try to vape if it is. And if you ever try again go back to reggie. Exo might be too much for your heart. I feel for you dude. I smoke every day... Good luck|||you should see what the cardiologist has to say they know more than people on yahoo, but that's very strange i never heard that from anyone who has smoked weed about the same period as you. my advice is to not smoke maybe its not the weed.|||Marijuana is a stimulant. it causes Paroxysmal supraventricular Tachycardia (Rapid heart rate). I would recommend not smoking it if you were diagnosed with PSVT
