Do you sense that God is present right now or in your life OR has God been absent as far as you have ever known or witnessed?
The words 'presence' and 'absence' are more concrete than existence or reality, you can experience absence and presence of something more easily than reality and unreality, existence and non-existence. Like the presence and absence of PAIN, you DEFINITELY know when it is there and when it is not. Like an overcast sky and its absence.
A presence of God would have a measurable effect, much like the effect the super-massive black hole at the galactic centre of the Milky Way has on the outstretched arm of the galaxy, and on the position of the sun and the Earth relative to the sun and that centre.
If God did or does exist the effect would be everywhere, an all-pervasive effect that is uncaused by natural agents, then all a scientist need do is establish the causal pattern of all natural agents and look for pervasive anomalies that recur inexplicable by the natural pattern, there the scientist would have conclude that a pattern exists that no natural pattern can mimic, a SUPER NATURAL or META-NATURAL pattern exists.
Then see does this pattern match the general pattern of intelligence; and confer a mechanism that might say that it had a role in the developmental history of universe, and THERE there would be something we may call GOD.
That would be my plan if I were a GOD-HUNTER scientist.|||God is everywhere present, sees and knows all things
Prov 15:3/ Ps 139:7-10/ Job 34:22,21
God is not everywhere present, neither sees nor knows all things
Gen 11:5/ Gen 18:20,21/ Gen 3:8
hmm, you decide|||The closer I draw to God, once I have made Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord, the closer he draws to me. With Bible reading I feel closer to God. When I connect to Christian media I feel close to God. Even in dreams God draws near to me as I draw near to him.|||There could be no God. Superstition rampant. The human ego is susceptible to Religious input.|||Is the car present or absent to the transmission?|||yes he is with me always and with all believers...seek him to find him
