Its become sort of semi-common knowlege amoung gay men that there are studies that suggest we have higher levels of testosterone, on average, than straight men. Do you think this could be like a side effect of some causal factor of homosexuality or the result of a difference in lifestyle between gay and straight men?|||I've heard of the studies but haven't read them, so I can't comment on them any more than this:
I'll bet the straight guys won't be too happy that WE have more testosterone. Kind of deflates their balloon, don't you think?|||That's amazing. xD
I had no idea at all, seriously lol. Maybe it IS some kinda factor dealing with sexuality.. after all, technically the brain is different in that it gets stimulated by smells of the same gender rather then the opposite. This could be one of those things too.|||I wish you'd given my testicles that information sooner!
When I had my physical, I found out that my testosterone level was 40 percent below normal -- which kind of explained my lack of interest in sex, my hair was falling out, I couldn't sleep at night and my mind was in a fog!
I started replacement testosterone therapy and I feel like I've age-regressed 30 years!
About the sex thing -- no problems in that category now! :-)))
